We hold lifesaving competitions locally and actively participate in international lifesaving competitions. From 2001 onwards, we are the member of Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and on regular subvention from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department that have provided us with an impetus for strategic development. To accommodate this, we organize training courses to ensure that adequate number of registered officials and coaches are in place. We also identify and enlist athletes of high potential from local competitions for long-term training. These athletes compete in international events. In recent years, our results have been promising and some national squads have won medals or broken Hong Kong records. These achievements have indeed enlivened Hong Kong 's image in international sports arena! |
